WHITE WINES
Turkish Kavaklidere Cankaya White
This is one of the best selling wines in Turkey. Cankaya is a blend of four different grapes (Semillon, emir, narice, and sutanye) from Anatolia which creates a wine that is light colored, elegant with some weight and it captures a very refreshing finish.

Wonderfully rich with grapefruit, passion fruit and fresh herbal notes.

  Sauvignon Blanc, Lauverjat "Perle Blanche", Sancerre, France
Made from very old vines, this wine has a golden hue and a persistent bouquet of almonds, linden-trees and heather. It’s a wine both rich w/minerality and delicate at the same time w/a savory and powerful palate.

Aromas of pineapple, guava, lemon zest, jasmine, and mango, richly textured and full-bodied with a crisp refreshing finish.

 Chardonnay, Burgundy France, Joseph Druin Pouilly-Fuisse
Pouilly-Fuissé has an emerald-golden hue. It is usually very brilliant. The bouquet is seductive: floral and fruity with a dominance of ripe fruit and fresh almonds. After some time in the bottle, Pouilly-Fuissé develops a lovely, complex bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round and dry. As such, it is a nice expression of the Chardonnay.

Classically structured wine that is lush and round on the palate, while displaying the typical intensity of fruit and spicy oak aromas while the finish is long and clean, the flavors become increasingly full and complex. One of America’s finest chardonnays.

 Pinot Gris, Domaine Schlumberger Grand Cru, Alsace, France
Fine and light, the Pinot Gris Grand Cru Kessler 2001 has the character of a sweet wine. It is golden yellow in color, with hints of green and thick tears. Intense and complex on the nose it has predominant aromas of honey, with slightly smoky notes going towards delicate scents of undergrowth. Mellow and well-balanced on the palate with a slightly acidulous, it has very beautifully lively, very long finish.

Straw yellow with light coppery hues; Fragrant, intense and complex with notes of wild flowers and ripe pear with a finish which is characterized by hints of bread crust; Delicate and fragrant, tasty and harmonious with a long lingering after taste.

Crisp and refreshing with citrus, peach and herbal flavors.

Floral notes, mango, light spice (vanilla), melon and tropical fruit notes (papaya, guava).
Though light bodied, an indication of this wine’s quality stems from the fact that complementing the floral and fruity aromatics with a creaminess that is nicely held up by a light smoke sensation.

Turkish Kavaklidere Yakut
Yakut is made from alicante, cargnan, bogazkere, and okuzgozu grapes that create a very pleasant dry red wine. It is ruby red in color, with generous fruit, light bodied, with a broad texture on the palate with a refreshing finish.

Medium bodied with a soft, smooth texture revealing cedar and red spring berries.

Mt. Veeder Reserve Red (Bordeaux Blend), California 2004
Mount Veeder was the first winery in California to have one vineyard planted to all five Bordeaux varietals. The Mount Veeder Reserve is an elegant statement of the winemaking philosophy that blending creates a wine more than the sum of its parts. Rich, supple and dense, loaded with dark blackberry fruit and ripe mountain tannin. Chewy, big-boned and intense, the flavors fill the pallet and continue with blackberry and coffee notes rounding out the long finish.

The unmistakable Zinfandel aromas of raspberry and blackberry are joined at the lip with sweet oak and a slight vegemite character.
